And I’m back- maybe not Monday, but yus, I am once again back.
This time in 2020! Hurrah!
Who is happy about the new decade?
TBH, I’m always sentimental over EVERYTHING (aha) and so I was like: *sniffle* 2019 is over!
But, I’m so happy about 2020, setting new goals, things to look forward to, and of course, a whole new year full of books, blog posts, and fun!
This post is mostly going to be about New Years Resolutions, some 2019 stuff, books, maybe cinnamon buns… who knows! We’ll find out!
OKAY! ENOUGH INTRO… LET US HOP IN.
(honestly don’t know what I’m hoping into but… let’s goooooo)
Topic 1: Christmas
O MY GOODNESS! The Christmas season went WAY too fast, didn’t it?! It was just like BOOM Christmas is over. But, good things have to come to an end- right?
How was your Christmas?
I enjoyed my Christmas a lot. Our Christmas tradition is to wake up and run upstairs to the “Chickens Crow at Midnight” (or is it Roosters?) it’s a song anyways.
CHICKENS (roosters?) CROW AT MIDNIGHT IT’S CHRISTMAS DAY!
And then we pray and open presents and then we cook a nice big Christmas brunch. After that, we usually play some board games or watch a fav movie, and then we head over to my Grandparents where usually all the family is gathered for a delicious Christmas meal and MORE GAMES (ahem! UNO and DUTCH BLITZ- eeps! so much FUN!)
Do you have any Christmas traditions?
I was extremely sad for Christmas to be over, but I can look forward to it next year again (or this year rather!)
Oh! Another Tradition…
(messy, sticky, table in the background from decorating)
Every year, (i think this is our third time) we have started an Annual Graham Cracker House competition, (which I think I’ve won each time this year- aha) and we decorate Graham Cracker Houses (mostly mini gingerbread houses) so that’s another fun thing we do!
The blue house is mine.
Topic 2: Cinnamon Buns
Okay- just making things clear- Victoria Paige totally inspired me to make some delish buns and ahhh… they turned out soo good!
ALSO IF YOU HAVE NOT READ VICTORIA’S BLOG– PLEASE DO!
Here is a picture of some eggs. XD.
Which I then whisked up.
And added to my secret dough mix.
Which I added yeast too. WHO ELSE THINKS YEAST SMELLS AMAZING?!
AND AFTER SOME RISING, BROWN SUGARING, AND BAKING…
Here’s what we got!
(also… they were delicious if I do say so myself!)
Topic 3: New Years Resolutions!
I think this is the BEST thing about a New Year. You can COMPLETELY START OVER.
Isn’t that just a wonderful thought?
I LOVE making goals and writing lists and I just LOVE to check off each goal as I do it… anyone else? no? Just me? okay.
1. READ MORE
2. LESS SCREEN TIME
3. JOURNAL MORE
4. SPEND MORE TIME OUTSIDE
5. WORK OUT
6. SELF REFLECT- what can I be doing to make myself a better person? Am I treating others the way I would want to be treated?
7. SPEND TIME WITH FRIENDS
8. MAYBE SELF PUBLISH MY NOVELLA
9. KEEP MY ROOM CLEAN & ORGANIZED
10. EAT HEALTHIER
Okay, so that isn’t ALL my new year’s resolutions, but that’s a few, and I just think that they are just some great habits, (rather than resolutions) that I would like to get into 🙂
Topic 4: What would YOU like to see?
The last thing I want to talk about is…
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN 2020?
More Book Reviews? DIY’s? A ROOM TOUR? TAGS?
What would YOU like for me to post in 2020? PLEASE COMMENT DOWN BELOW!
I love hearing from y’all 😉
I just realizing something… I hardly talked about a book in this entire post…
TOPIC 5: MY BOOK I’M READING ATM
